RTMUK playing musical instruments and bringing it back to schools

Our Mission

Restore The Music UK invests in schools that demonstrate an instinctive enthusiasm and excitement for the teaching of music alongside a clear grasp of the multifaceted benefits associated with a musical education.

Established in 2012, Restore The Music UK is an independent initiative, pioneered and funded by the Gordon and Jenny Singer Foundation.

Restore The Music UK awards grants to primary and secondary schools for the sole purpose of acquiring musical instruments for the education and enjoyment of the children.

The programme pledges to make music an instinctive and everyday aspect of children's lives by enabling direct access to instruments in conjunction with tuition and music technology.

This initiative aims to provide each child with the tools to develop their own relationship with instruments and to experience the joys and benefits of playing music with others.
