Restore The Music UK is a visionary programme founded in 2011 to deliver private funding to schools to facilitate the provision of music – instruments and tuition – to all children in state education from primary through secondary.
Following unprecedented demand for the grant awards, a strategic decision was taken in 2017 to establish RTM UK as a UK registered charity and to continue to target and fund schools with high levels of Free School Meals and Pupil Premium.
RTM UK is unique in that the grant awards are entirely bespoke according to the needs of each school, reflecting their local community and demographic, and all successful applicants are united in their determination to raise the level of attainment of their children and encourage ambition and a belief in personal success in their chosen field. The aim remains not to reward individual talent but to fund the opportunity for every child to experience and acquire the love and joy inherent in music of every kind.
Restore The Music UK is young, flexible and dynamic and welcomes alliances that are keen to invest back in to the musical and creative education of the young people of today.
